Without sounding biased, I think photography may be one of the best covid-19 lockdown activities for anyone during these challenging times.

Everyone is stuck finding ways to stay constantly amused, but one suggestion from us is to spend time and hone your food photography skills. Food photography is a great way to amuse the kids, get some practice in, take your photography skills to the next level and have some fun along the way. Start with a cooking session in the kitchen followed by plating it up and then grab some great images.  The best part is that you can then eat and enjoy your creation. Involve the family and take lots of shots along the way.

Our featured image comes from one of our students,  Leanne Grogan

Leanne has followed some solid food photography principles.  The image is simple with clean lines and detail and the background makes the colour pop. You can almost feel the freshness of the passionfruit. When you get your image into Post Production, Dark and moody editing is “in” right now.

Of course you can also use your lockdown time to study with us in one of our great online photography courses. Professional Course Sale On Now.

Thanks for sharing Leanne.

Stay safe everyone and we will get through this.
